Larry bought his first Haflinger from Jim Pound in 1989.  He bought a mare, with a baby by her side and bred back to Wiser JPH a stallion of Jim Pounds.   At the same time he purchased a yearling filly.  In 1990 we had the first foal of Wiser JPH, Wiser's April Fool LMP.  At the 1990 Michigan Sale we  purchased Wiser.  From that time on we have purchased brood mares who we thought would cross with Wiser's wonderful disposition.

Peggy's (Larry's daughter) first cart class with Wiser was in 1991 at the Missouri State Fair.  Since then LMP Farm has been competing in many show's including the AHR National Shows and fairs through out the Midwest.  We have competed in a few Combined Driving Events, and have started some of our horses as hunters and dressage prospects..  LMP has been promoting the versatility of Haflingers by "Doing what our horses do best."  Draft, Pleasure/Sport, Versatility, Western, English, Dressage, Driven Dressage, and Combined Driving Events (CDEs).
